Hamilton Park is an award-winning horse racing, conference, events and accommodation resort, with a first-class season of fixtures and so much more. In 2026, Hamilton Park celebrates the 100-year centenary of racing on its Bothwell Road site, where racing first began in 1926.
It was crowned 2018 RCA Showcase Champions at the prestigious industry awards ceremony where venues from across the UK are recognised for showing "excellence and innovation" in customer experience. 2023 and 2025 saw Hamilton Park named RCA & ROA Owners Racecourse of the Year for the whole of the UK. The resort has also been awarded the ASVA 5 Star rating for its exceptional service, facilities and overall guest experience.
As well as offering top racing action from May to September, the venue offers exciting entertainment and themed days and nights, truly offering something for everyone. From family days and the famous Lanark Silver Bell event, to the legendary Saints and Sinners Racenight and Ladies’ Nights, Hamilton Park is a must-visit for a great day or night out.
Hamilton Park also opened the doors of its £10m Hampton by Hilton in July 2019, a 118-bedroom hotel within the grounds of the racecourse for all to stay at and enjoy.

This is a very good day out even if you are not really into horse racing. It has a good stand. And has kept up with modern facilities. They even have a marquee for weddings and the Christmas party nights will soon be starting. With the new Hampton by Hilton hotel now open it's easy to stay close to the course. And your a 1/2 mile from Hamilton town centre and lots of restaurants.

What can we say about this place. Where to begin. From start to finish we had the most magical day. Pauline, Mena and the staff made us feel like the most important people in the whole entire world even down to two brides being bundled into a 3 door Audi as we couldn't get a taxi to the hotel. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone it will honestly be the best decision you ever make.
